Frequently Asked Questions
Are my files uploaded to your servers for conversion?
No. All conversion operations (e.g. image transcoding, CSV parsing, PDF operations) happen fully client-side inside your browser sandbox. WebAssembly (WASM) and WebGPU run locally in-memory. Your raw files never touch our servers.
How does the File Share tunnel work?
When you choose to "Share" files, they are securely uploaded to our storage nodes. You can optional set a password constraint. The generated link is active for the specified expiration days (up to 7 days) and automatically undergoes permanent cleanup sweep once expired.
Why does the browser say "Zipping files..." when downloading all?
If multiple files are shared inside a tunnel link, the "Download All (ZIP)" button compiles them into a single archive directly inside your browser memory. This eliminates server zipping delays and respects your browser settings.
What are the file size constraints?
Free plan users can upload and process files up to 50 MB locally. Upgrading to our Premium and Pro tiers lifts these constraints, allowing you to transcode and tunnel files up to 2 GB with optimized multi-threaded workers.
